Over the years we have read article after article about waterfowl
hunting. We have also been lucky to have learned from some of the
best guides in the world and some great friends along the way.
Clients also bring a pretty ingenious bag of tricks with them, and are
always eager to share their secrets. Every trip, people always ask
about things such as trailer set up, call use and repair, decoy set up,
and much more. We've decided to add some of our favorites here for
you to improve the enjoyment of waterfowling when you return home to
hunt your favorite fields and sloughs.

Shot
Selection One of the biggest mistakes new waterfowler's
make is to pop out of the blind and shoot the "candy shot", or the
closest bird to them, and then move out towards the farthest birds, that
have now moved farther away. Instead, key in on the outside birds
first, and move it - this keeps all 3 shots almost the same moderate
distance, instead of a close first shot, a long second shot, and a super
far third.
